Your trees in Spain

Spain is one of the most fertile countries in the world. It produces 12% of Europe’s fruits/vegetables, and is home to 54% of Europe’s unique plant and animal species.

Unfortunately, this fertility is being threatened by unsustainable agriculture practices, leading to Spain’s countryside quickly desertifying.

With Ecosia, we are working with local farmers to implement regenerative agroforestry techniques. Your trees will be planted alongside their crops, reversing the desertification process and ensuring the Spain’s topsoil remains rich, healthy, and bountiful.
